Shadow wakes up inside her den next to sev, like always but ever since she was resurrected she has been feeling weak, like a small pichu could even defeat her. She sighs and goes outside which wakes sev up "what's wrong?" Sev said seeing shadow seem depressed "I fear that I have gotten to weak" shadow explains "you not weak.c'mon, lets finds a human camp and kill them. Then we'll see if your weak or not" sev says "okay fine..." Shadow replies as sev tries to get shade to come and eventually, shade agrees. So they go off exploring. Shade sighs and his scales start to turn black like shadows, soon he looked almost like shadow "it's good to be back!" His insane side says as he looks at sev and shadow "hi" shade says with a evil grin "what are we doing?" He asks "looking for some humans kill" sev replies "perfect! I haven't had a good meal in a long time!" Shade says as he sniffs the air, since shade is younger he has a better nose to sniff out prey "got something, but it's weak" shade says "lead the way!" Sev replies as they shade slithers off while sev and shadow follow. Eventually they come across a small team rocket base "sweet, team rocket always have cool tech" sev says "but can we use any of it?" Shade asks "probely not, but our slaves  can" sev replies "good point" shade says as they watch them. They soon discover there is only 7 grunts there "perfect, 2 for each of us and one left for a slave" shade says with a grin "so, what's our plan of attack?" Shadow asks "we just jump in and attack?" Shade asks "to risky, who knows what tech they have in there" sev replied "we'll pick them off one by one, silently" shadow says "sounds good " sev replies "lets do this" shade says as shadow and shade hides in the trees while sev lures one of them over. Sev rustles a nearby bush making one of them walk over and inspect the bush only to be coiled up by shade "hello Delicious prey!" Shade says as he shoves the grunt into his maw "ugh, tastes like salt" shade thinks as he keeps on swallowing the struggling grunt until the grunt reaches his stomach which is acid-filled "let me out you over grown worm!" The grunt calls out but his comrades couldn't hear him "no, now shut up while I digest you" shade says as sev lures over another grunt by rustling the bush but this time he is coiled up by shadow "what the!?" The grunt calls out as shadow shoves the grunts head into her maw "oh god he tastes like dirt!" Shadow thinks as he reaches the grunts waist. Soon the grunt reaches shadow's stomach which is acid filled and soon passes out "is it me or do these grunts taste really bad?" Shadow asks "nope, my one tastes like pure salt!" Shade says "still wanna do this?" Sev asks "yeah" shadow says as sev rustles the bush but no one notices"drat, need a new idea" sev says "I got one" shade says as he slithers off and  brings back a oshawott "d-don't eat me!" Oshawott calls out " we won't if you do exactly as we say"  shade says "w-what do you want?" Oshawott asks "get the attention of some grunts and lead them here" shade says "h-how do I do that..?" Oshawott asks "figure it out" shade says as the oshawott walks over to the tent and calls out 'oshawott!' Which makes 2 grunts walk out abd chase the oshawott only to be coiled up by shade and shadow who quickly shove them into their maws and swallows them sending them Into their stomach which was filled with their half digested friends.

Sev chuckles and slithers over to the tent with shade and shadow following "3 left, 3 of us. We should easily over power them" shade says "yep" sev says as they jump into the tent and coil around the 3 grunts. "Which one should we choose?" Sev asks "shadow can pick" shade says "hmmm, this one" shadow says as she points to the one shade is holding. "Alright sev, eat" shade says as he shoves the grunt Into his maw and swallows sending him Into his stomach "hey, he tasted like cherries " sev said "why does sev always get the tasty prey!" Shade says "just lucky" sev replies "whatever, just eat your last prey"  shadow says as he passes the prey she coiled around to sev "thanks you kindly" sev replies as he he shoves the grunt into his mouth and swallows sending him into his stomach with the other one "we did it" sev says

They all look at the last grunt "all there's left to is hypnotise the last one" shadow says "what no!" The grunt says as he struggles but sev and shade keeps him still while shadow goes over and looks at his eyes and her eyes starts to swirl with different colours and the grunt had no choice but to look into her eyes. Already he could feel his mind becoming numb and slowly he couldn't think straight eventually he passes out inside his mind  but his body is still awake and will do anything shadow commands him to" it's done" shadow says as shade and sev uncoil him "stand up" shadow says as he does so "you so gotta teach me how to hypnotise prey" shade says "maybe" shadow says as they look around the large tent "what is this thing" shadow says as she picks up a weird looking collar "you, human. What is this device?" Shadow asks "it's a essence extractor..." The grunt says "what does it do?" Shadow asks "it takes the ability and powers from one creature and gives it to the host" grunt explains "how do I get it to work?" Shadow asks "you wear it and and kill someone...then their soul gets absorbed by it and it put into your body" the grunt explains "awesome" shadow says "put it on me" shadow says as the grunt does so and turns it on which sticks small needles into her neck "ack!" Shadow says as she growls at the grunt then  she stops "I wanna test this!" Shadow says "wait, does it matter how I kill them?" Shadow asks "no, as long as they did by you...be it bleed to death or digested...you still get their power" grunt says "perfect!" Shadow says as she slithers out "grunt, you will listen to the other 2 sevipers abd do whatever they say" shadow says "ok" grunt says "good, not sit and wait for a command" shadow commands as she slithers out and the grunt sits.

Shadow goes to her den and to the jail cells she has to keep prey she has captured. She looks around for a good test subject for the essence extractor on and soon she finds a riolu" perfect " shadow says as she unlocks the cage and pulls the riolu out "d-don't hurt me shadow..." Riolu begs but shadow, like always, never listens abd stabs the riolu through the chest around 5 times before the riolu dies and the device around shadows neck glows and a blue mist goes from the riolus body into the device. She suddenly feels some pain in her neck but it was soon gone "did it work?" Shadow asks as she focuses and fires a aura sphere from her mouth "it worked!" Shadow said happily and she laughs evilly. She focuses again and she could see all the aura of the prisoners she has "now I can easily track prey...but it'll be more powerful if I kill a lucario..." Shadow said as she goes outside and uses her newfound ability to find a lucario.

Soon enough she gets a lucarios aura do she follows it and she finds a sleeping lucario "almost too easy" shadow says as she goes over and cuts his throat and soon he dies which makes the device glow again and a darker blue mist to come from the lucario into the device and shadow feels another pain in her neck but it soon goes away "I can feel the power!" Shadow says as she teleports into her den "perfect! That lucario knew how to teleport!" Shadow says as she fires a more powerful aura sphere and her aura sense is also stronger "what other creatures do I have here?" Shadow asks as she looks around and soon finds a growlith. Shadow unlocks the cave and grabs him and pulls him out of the cage. Shadow grins and stabs him multiple times until he died, causing the device to, once again, glow. A orange mist comes from the growlith into the device which causes pain In shadows neck but it soon goes away "lets try out this new fire attacks!" Shadow says as she teleports outside and uses flamethrower in the air "perfect!" Shadow says as she fires a fireball and uses flame wheel "at this rate...I'll be unstoppable!" Shadow stays with a wicked laugh.
